Gabrielle investigates the role technology plays in shaping perception and the possibilities of knowledge production. With a focus on language technologies and digital fabrication, she designs and builds systems that question practices of sense-making with and through machines. She is affiliated to the TAT Lab and Machine Agency in HCDE, to the DXARTS SoftLab and Studio Tilt in Design.

Prior to attending graduate school, Gabrielle worked as a writer and conversation designer for Alexa at Amazon. She also worked as a video producer and bilingual writer for various tech organizations in Montréal, QC. She loves cinema, philosophy, literature and conducting alchemical experiences in her kitchen, which some call cooking.
